All,
Our next IDEAA (Integrating Data, Enterprise Architecture, and Applications) iCoP meeting will be held Tuesday, June 13th, from 9:30am to 11:00am, in 402 Walter Library.
Here is the agenda:
-- Announcements (Colin DeLong; 5min)
-- Integration function update (Matt Nuttall; 5min) - Updates on OIT’s progress in building an integration function. We’ll cover staffing, big projects, and a Campus Labs example.
-- Enterprise Asset Management kick-off (Gabe Garlets; 10min) - Use space data? Then you’ll be interested in this talk. There’s a new project in town and Gabe is going to walk us through what’s in store, and what implications there might be on the data side of things.
-- ASR IT and the Student Degree Progress project (Ian Whitney; 15-20min) - Ian will be with us to provide an overview of his team's work on the Student Degree Progress project, challenges they’ve faced, technologies involved, and where it’s all headed.
-- Ruminations of a data architect (Mark Skweres/Chris Dinger; 15min) - It’s been a little bit since last we heard from Mark, but word on the street is that he’ll be providing an update about the spiffy new integration platform middleware RFP. He also wants to hear from you - the community - about all things system/data integration, so bring your feedback! It has a direct impact on OIT’s next steps.
-- Analytics and Data Integration fCoP follow-up (Amy Schult, Brian Krupski; 10min) - Our regularly-scheduled follow-up from the fCoP, including updates on EDMR and OIT’s efforts, EDMR data subject areas, and other projects.
