Our next IDEAA (Integrating Data, Enterprise Architecture, and Applications) iCoP meeting will be held Thursday, August 23rd, from 9:30am to 10:30am, in 402 Walter Library.
Here is the agenda:
-- Training Hub (Jason Kadrmas; 15 min) - ULearn is gone and Training Hub is here. In this talk, Jason will provide a general overview of the Training Hub transition, potential impacts to related data sources and integrations, and next steps.
-- Spark+AI Summit reflection (Colin DeLong, 15 min) - Interested in what’s happening with big data analytics these days? This talk is for you. The 2018 Spark+AI Summit was held early June, bringing together 4,000+ people together from 1,100+ organizations who use Apache Spark to do everything from streaming ETL to predictive analytics to recommendation systems. Colin took lots of notes and this presentation summarizes some of the takeaways, including potential applications at the U of M.
-- Dell Boomi update (Matt Nuttall; 10 min) - Update on the Dell Boomi implementation. The current state of the scope, staffing, governance, and timelines as well as our next steps.
-- Data Governance: Common Dimensions update (Amy Schult; 10 min) - Update on Data Governance work developing common dimensions including a review of ethnicity, which will be used across reporting and integrations.
