Our next IDEAA (Integrating Data, Enterprise Architecture, and Applications) iCoP meeting will be held Tuesday, December 14th, 2021 from 9:30-11:00 am, online.
Here is the agenda:
-- EDMR Data Governance (Jim Nichols, 10 min) - Jim Nichols from EDMR will present on data governance topics including definitions for current institutional initiatives and UM Analytics ad-hoc sharing.
-- Enterprise Data & Analytics update (Ed Chavez & Paul Volkmuth, 15 min) - Paul Volkmuth and Ed Chavez will provide updates on the ongoing work being done within the UM Analytics Technology roadmap, including Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) and the December "go live" . This will include information about how IDEAA community members can get involved in testing/trying-out the new UM Analytics features, such as creating datasets, dataflows, and using the ML functionality.
-- PeopleSoft and uAchieve Integrations with Stellic (ASR and OIT team members, 15 min) - Following up on the DegreeCat Project presentation from last August, ASR and OIT will provide an update on their approach and progress for integrating PeopleSoft and uAchieve data with the University's new degree planning system, Stellic.
-- OIT Integration team updates (Tim Gagner and Dan Wagner, 15 min) - Tim will share updates related to current projects and activities that the team is engaged in; along with some information about anticipated efforts in the coming months. Dan will share the result of some recent work to provide you all with a Common Data Layer (CDL) dictionary; which includes the definition and structure of the current elements and tables in the CDL.
-- x.500 Retirement Strategy & Change Management (KT Cragg, 15 min) - The Identity and Access Management team will share the latest information on efforts related to retiring the legacy identity management system known as x.500. Come hear about the potential impacts, timelines and actions that you may need to take.
