Our next IDEAA (Integrating Data, Enterprise Architecture, and Applications) iCoP meeting will be held Tuesday, October 8th, 2019, from 9:30am to 11:00am, in 402 Walter Library.
Here is the agenda:
-- API Management RFP? (Mark Skweres; 10 min) - The University is seeking an API management tool to help us better manage API security and discovery. Mark will give a brief update on our requirements and next steps in the process.
-- Identity and Access Management: Grouper’s future + real-time business events (Dillon Bogenrief, Mark Skweres, Dan Wagner & Phani Kandalam; 25 min) - Dillon will start with an update from the Identity and Access Management program including the charge from the first meeting of the lifecycle governance committee. Mark will cover the difference between a data event and a business event as well as how will Grouper make your next audit less painful. Finally, Phani and Dan will discuss our current Grouper proof of concept work.
-- EDMR updates - Tuition attribution project/etc (Amy Schult; 10-15 min) - Who is considered an international student? Amy will shed some light as to how this question is being answered in various reporting contexts and related next steps in EDMR. Thoughts on training and updates regarding best practices/governance topics will be shared as well. Finally, do you work with tuition data? Amy will share some background information regarding the tuition attribution project.
-- The updated Information Security Policies (Ray Phillips; 15-20 min) - Learn more about how to comply with the updated Information Security Policy & Standards, including gap analysis, exceptions and risk assessments. Bring your questions!
