All,
Our next IDEAA (Integrating Data, Enterprise Architecture, and Applications) meeting will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 9:30 - 10:30 am, online.
Here is the agenda:
-- EDMR Data Governance (Christian Sobek, 10 min) - Governing Groups of People: The Data Governance Council is making progress in the governance of groups of people. Review of definitions currently in progress (including University Leadership definitions) will be shared, as well as where to find governed groups.
-- Enterprise Data & Analytics (Rob Howieson, 5 min) - EDA will discuss the recent Tableau server upgrade to version 2022.3.1, among other brief updates.
-- OIT Integration Team (Tim Gagner, 10 min) - Will share recent additions to common API catalog, such as an Affiliation API for a list of current students by campus. Also, the inclusion of student fee and indicator data in the CDL.
-- Extracting, Loading and Transforming Coursedog Data (Ian Whitney and David Norman, 20 min) - With Academic Program and Course planning moving from PCAS/ECAS to our new vendor partner Coursedog, how can ASR continue to provide that data to all of our on-campus integrations? A discussion of the Why and How ASR is extracting and transforming non-relational JSON documents to provide relational data.
