INSTALLING WSX MOBILE
To install WSX Mobile,
Check your device meets the minimum hardware specification (click link to view)
From the device, open a Google Chrome browser and enter the following link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/14xGNTQzfK984o0Pu8PEi8Zf_N-XFKTrK?usp=share_link
Within the page that presents click on the file titled Wsx.Mobile_Ver_X.X.X.XXX.apk to download. Notes,
a. If presented with a message saying 'No preview available' click on the Download button.
b. If presented with a message stating 'Google Drive has detected issues with your download' and that the file "may harm your computer", click on Download anyway - this file will not harm your tablet.
You should then be presented with a message at the bottom of the screen asking if you want to download the file - click Download
Once downloaded the message at the bottom of the screen should then present with the option to open the file - click Open
Note: After downloading if you have any issues with locating the file, it should be available in My Files under Download History. Clicking on the downloaded file should initiate the install process.
After clicking Open you will be presented with two screens notifying you of the access the application will have on the device - click Next on the first and Install on the second to proceed with the install.
The app should now install with the install window showing as 'Installing...'. Once complete it will display as 'App installed' - click OPEN to now open the app to complete set-up.
Skip to the WSX MOBILE SET-UP section below for details on completing application set-up.
UPDATING WSX MOBILE
When a UPDATE is available for a WSX app, this is the screen you will be presented with for the relevant version of the update - click DOWNLOAD to proceed.
One download commences you will be presented with the 'Downloading Update' message showing the download progress
Once downloaded you will be presented with the WSx Mobile install screen - select INSTALL to install the app.
Once installing process starts this screen will present showing 'Installing..'
Once installed, the screen will present as 'App Installed' - click OPEN to start using the app (or to complete set-up - as outlined below)
WSX MOBILE SET-UP
Complete the following steps to set-up the device for the appropriate Truck or Loader.
Touch the 'Welcome to the Trimble Forestry Device Profile Setup' screen that first presents.
Select the Operating Region in which the PDT will be used, i.e. NZ (New Zealand) or AUS (Australia). Once selected this will display next to the 'Selected Region is:' - click NEXT to continue.
Note: If you are setting up a device that has previously been set-up with WSX Mobile you may be prompted with a message stating "A quick setup file exists for this device, would you like to use it to speed up the setup process?". If the device being set-up is for the same Fleet as that previously used, you can click OK to this option and it will complete the set-up based on previous. If the fleet has changed click NO and continue the steps as described below.
Select the Server to which the device with connect, i.e. LIVE, RC or TEST.
Once selected you maybe prompted with another screen to select between the Sybase or SQL versions - CHOOSE THE SQL OPTION ONLY (Sybase version no longer exists)
Once a selection is made this will display in the 'Selected Server is:' - Click NEXT to continue.
Notes,
Choose the SQL version only. Selecting Sybase will mean the app will not work.
RC and TEST are only for Trimble Support staff use.
Enter the Fleet Id and Fleet Password (6 digits) for your fleet and click NEXT

Review your previous selections in this screen and select SAVE to login to the WSX app
Note: If any of the details look incorrect select CLEAR VALUES and start the set-up again from the beginning.
You will then be taken to the Login page for WSX mobile from which you must
Select the Registration assigned to the Truck or Loader - click on the Please Choose text beside 'Registration' and from the 'Choose Registration' screen that presents, click on the correct registration.
Note - you can scroll to the required registration or touch on any of the numbers or letters along the top to be taken to that location in the list.
Enter the Login PIN for the driver (if you are unsure of this please contact your despatch or Trimble Support). Notes,
The cursor will not display in the Login area; you can simply just start typing to enter the PIN.
The DELETE button will delete the entered PIN one character at a time
Once the registration has been selected and the login PIN entered, click SUBMIT to login
