Text messages sent from the PDT to WSX will generate a Message record, and Event Log record and may also add a Journey Note where relevant. The method by which these items are generated and the truck and Log Org against which these are recorded are as outlined below.
No Journey or no Active Journey on the PDT (therefore message returned from PDT without an associated WSX Journey Number)
Message - Created for all active trucks in the specified database with a Registration matching that from the PDT
Event Log (Freeform & Pre-Canned messages) - Created for all active trucks in the specified database with a Registration matching that from the PDT
Journey Note - None added
2. An Active Journey exists on the PDT and where,
Journey (with matching journey number) exists in WSX and where,
Truck on journey matches (between WSX & PDT)
Message - Created for truck associated to journey in WSX only
Event Log - where message received is,
Freeform - Created for truck associated to journey in WSX only
Pre-Canned - Created for all active trucks in the specified database with a Registration matching that from the PDT
Journey Note - Added against journey in WSX
Truck on journey no longer matches (between WSX & PDT)
Message - Created for all active trucks in the specified database with a Registration matching that from the PDT
Event Log - Created for all active trucks in the specified database with a Registration matching that from the PDT
Journey Note - None added
