Sending Bulk Messages

Messages can be sent to multiple truck PDT's at the same time utilising the Bulk Messages function.

To send bulk messages,

1. Go to the View > Bulk Messages screen.

2. Select the Log Org(s) whose trucks are to receive the message.

3. If the messages are to be sent to a specific contractors trucks then select the required contractor from the Contractor field.

4. To further filter the truck list to select from the List option allows for the following filter by options,

• Current Days Journeys - Trucks with a journey for the current day

• Current Days Active Journeys - Trucks with an active journey for the current day

• Current Weeks Journeys - Trucks with a journey for the current week

• All Trucks - All voiceless activated trucks 

• Trucks Past Due Date for Re-Tare - All trucks where the number of days from their last tare weight update exceeds the number of days as displayed in the 'Tare Days' (as set in the DB Setting MaxDaysBetweenTares)

5. Once all filters are applied you can then choose to 'Select All' trucks from the truck list on the right-hand side, or highlight one or many from this list.

6. Write the message to be sent into the Message field.

7. If you would like the outgoing message to be hidden from the messages displayed in the CPS screen, tick the Hide on CPS option.

8. Once all truck selections have been made and the message written you can click on Send to send.

Note: Refresh will clear all truck selections made in the truck list.
