A PDT can be either a 7050 OR TALON, there are 2 different kinds.
The black box is called a 4000 unit.
The old PDT's that are being phased out are called 5040's. Their black box is a 3026
There is a black box in the dash of every truck with a PDT. It connects to the PDT via WIFI with the help of a Wifi dongle attached to the 4000 unit
The black box needs at least 4 satellite connections to accurately pin point a trucks location
The black box sends information through cell towers to WSX Desktop software (including location information gathered via satellite and job status from WSX app in the PDT)
An issue can occur at any point of this process

Logging into the MTData App
Click the Login button on the main MTData screen.
Enter your login number on the keypad, click Next, then enter your password and click Login.
Please log out at the end of everyday.
Starting the Trimble WSX App
Swipe right to left on main Talon screen until presented with menu options screen below and select the Trimble WSX option.
Sometimes this hasn't been installed properly so check it is there with the driver - if not support need to send through an update.
