If the PDT is not statusing jobs, it could be one of the following reasons
The PDT currently has a old job on the screen:
This can be confirmed if the PDT is receiving jobs and we are seeing that on WSX side. You can see that the PDT has received the job and the driver is confirming it, but it is not statusing further. Also you can possibly see that one of the older jobs from the day or the previous day would have status messages coming back for current time, indicating that is the active job on the screen.
BYOD - The GPS or location services are turned off on the tablet:
This could be because the user has accidentally turned off GPS services on the tablet. You can confirm the same by looking at the following notification screens and see if the location services are ON. If they are, then the location icon would be bright and highlighted.
To get to the notification screen, the user needs to swipe down from the top of the screen and this will bring down a menu. If you do not see location on this, swipe left within that menu to look at the icons on the next page.
MTData - The GPS antenna is bad or disconnected:
This happens generally due to wear and tear or possibly the antenna not getting connected back after a service. Having said that, this can be identified easily by looking at MTData history of the vehicle. You can see that the Lat/Long against a line in history will show NO GPS.
