The WSX Mobile Event Reporting function, used in Coillte operations solely for the capture of Road Condition Reports enables truck drivers the ability to record and return to WSX, reports on the condition of forestry roads.
This user guide outlines how to capture a Mobile Event Report (Road Condition Report) within WSX Mobile.
Where Mobile Event Capture is activated against a job, when you confirm the job an Event Report icon (exclamation mark in a triangle) will present against the job to the left of the status button.
The colour of this icon is dependent on the requirement for you to complete the Road Condition Report, with a mandatory requirement to return the report showing the icon in red, an optional requirement showing the icon in blue.
Note that where the requirement to return a report is mandatory, on Confirming the job will also be presented with a pop-up notification message stating “A Road Condition report is required prior to job completion. Please select the exclamation mark icon to return this report when appropriate”. Click the OK button to clear this message.
Returning a Mobile Event Report can be undertaken by completing and sending an 'Event Report' from within WSX Mobile.
The Event Report screen can be accessed either by tapping on the Mobile Event Report icon, or in situations where Despatch has set the event to 'prompt', if you have not already returned an event report on the journey, you will be prompt when the job reaches the 'At Crew' status.
Note: The Event Report screen when presented when the 'At Crew' status is reached, will sit behind the 'Loaded By' screen which also presents, with the requirement to complete the 'Loaded By' return before the Event Report return.
Within the Event Report screen you are required to complete the fields as listed below, with those showing with an exclamation mark beside the field being mandatory to complete before the report can be sent.
Category* - For Coillte, this will be auto-populated with Road Condition and does not required adding or changing
Sub-Category* - Tap on the field and select the sub-category from the list that presents, which will include,
Road in need of major repairs
Road in need of minor repairs
Road in need of no repairs.
Report Detail* - Tap on the field and enter detail on the nature of the issue with the road.
Photos - Where appropriate, capture photos against the event to illustrate the issues encountered with the road. To take a photo, tap on the TAKE PHOTO button and the camera will initiate. Take a photo and if you want to keep it, select 'OK', if you want to discard or retake, select 'Retry'. Repeat this process to take any additional photos required.
Where photo's have been captured against an Event Report a thumbnail for the first photo will present, with the total number of photos captured displayed on top of this.
Photos can also be reviewed by clicking on the thumbnail icon. In the photo viewer that presents, click on the thumbnails to view each photo and if you wish to delete one, click on rubbish bin icon in top right-hand corner of the screen. To exit the photo viewer click the arrow in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
Warning* - Where set against an event, a warning message will present and if specified, warning buttons associated with the Event Sub-Category. If warning buttons present, you must select one of these before you can send the report
Once all required fields are completed, send the Event Report by tapping on the send icon.
Note: You may return more than one Event Report against a journey
