Sustained Investigation 2

The main idea that guided my work was to create cloud-like butterflies that represent lighter elements of life like hopes and dreams as well as the delicateness of nature and their interaction with a human hand.

The materials I used were plaster for the hand, paper and spray paint for the butterflies, and wire to attach the butterflies to the hand.

The processes I used were research, revision, and experimentation. I researched gears and used their patterns for inspiration when creating the butterfly wings.
