The main idea that guided my work was the drawing prompt "a ghost eating a pretzel and drinking strawberry milk."

To create this piece I used colored pencils, watercolor pencils, water, a ruler, and a 2H pencil. I used the pencil for the basic outline then added colored pencil. To darken the color I added watercolor pencil and then thinned/spread it out using water.

The processes I went through to create this piece were research and revision. I researched strawberries to make more accurate leaves and researched strawberry flowers to correctly draw their basic shape. I revised the ghost and the Turkish delight to be smaller and softer in appearance.
