SIAMS Report
St Paul’s, along with all Church Schools, take part in an inspection additional to the Ofsted inspection. This inspection is known as the SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) inspection and will focus on aspects of the school which make it distinctive as a Church School. The SIAMS inspection happens within a 5 year period. Our most recent inspection happened in June 2019.
The purpose of the SIAMS Inspection is to answer the question: ‘ How effective is the school’s distinctive Christian vision, established and promoted by leadership at all levels, in enabling pupils and adults to flourish?’
This is explored through seven strands:
Vision and Leadership
Wisdom, Knowledge and Skills
Character Development: Hope, Aspiration and Courageous Advocacy
Community and Living Well Together
Dignity and Respect
The impact of collective worship
The effectiveness of religious education
At St Paul’s we are proud of our distinctive Christian character and our link with our church community. Please read our most recent inspection report. If you would like to know more about our Church School distinctiveness, please feel free to contact the school.
