From Reception* to Year 6, the children are able to enter their classrooms from 8.50am.  

Children from Reception have a lunch break from 11.30am to 12.30pm. Their day ends at 3.25pm. Year 1 have a lunch break from 11.50am to 12.50pm and those in Year 2 to Year 6 from midday until 1.00 pm, when afternoon registration takes place for all children.  

School finishes at 3.30pm for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children.

*Reception children should arrive at 8.40am, via the small gate in Alexandra Road.  We kindly ask that you wait with your child on the other side of the Reception fence.  We will open the door to the Reception building at 8.45am as our day starts promptly.  We ask that parents leave the school site by 8.50am promptly, when the school gates will be locked. A full school day finishes at 3.20pm and Reception children must be collected from the classroom door.  We ask that if there is to be any change to your child’s routine or they are to be collected by somebody different, you inform the teacher in the morning or phone the school office.  Your child’s safety is our highest priority and we will only hand the children to an adult we are expecting.  If someone other than the adults familiar to the Reception Team is collecting your child please can you give them the agreed password so that we can check that they are going home with a safe person.
