Lunes 4/19

Noteboook Check: here

Monday Work:

  1. Survey: Take this REQUIRED survey about whether or not you're moving onto the next level of Spanish. In the comments section, include any topics you would like reviewed at the beginning of the next level, if applicable. (survey here)

  2. Notes: From here on out, we will focus on the past tense. Below is a list of the Sweet 16 verbs in their past tense forms -- write them down in JUST THE YO FORM in your notebook! here

  3. Música: This week begins our final thematic unit, which is on Música Latina! To begin, here is a little bit about Merengue (here). Listen to the included videos, and look up a few of the artists mentioned in the slides. Then, write a short comparison/your opinions of Merengue (10 sentences or more, in English) -- did you like it or not? What specifically do you like or dislike about it? Is it similar to any other music or songs you listen to? Have you heard Merengue before? Is there a Merengue version of a song you like on YouTube somewhere? Would you listen to it again? What was your favorite type of Merengue? etc....
