Semana 31

Lunes 4/19

Notebook Check: Block 2 and Block 3

Monday Work:

  1. Survey: Take this REQUIRED survey about whether or not you're moving onto the next level of Spanish. In the comments section, include any topics you would like reviewed at the beginning of the next level, if applicable. (survey here)

  2. Notes: Take notes on commands using this website here. A tip for taking notes: don't write everything down! Write down the essential things, and maybe an example or two so you see how it's used.

  3. Commands Practice: Complete this one (only one!) worksheet here . We will go over this tomorrow at the beginning of class - make a copy of it and share it with me today, though, so I can mark you as present for today!

Martes 4/20

Los Novios: Review chapter 6 from Friday, then do an in-class listening activity for the first page of chapter 7. I read the first page aloud at a normal speaking pace, and as I read students wrote down any English words that came to their mind. We looked at their lists at the end of class and decided that knowing just a few words made it possible to get a general image of what's going on -- you don't have to understand every word, or read slowly, to know generally what's going on!
Tarea: Conjugate these verbs here into the command form. Keep in mind that there are some irregular commands here! Share the document with me - due before class starts tomorrow.
