Martes 3/9 - Viva Cuba
**Today and tomorrow will be spent watching the movie, completing the movie guide, and working on the project. The movie guide is due by tomorrow at midnight, and the project is due by this Friday at midnight. Use your time wisely!! I will check both Google Classroom assignments on Tuesday and Wednesday to make sure you are working, and will use your progress to take attendance both days. Let me know if you need any help or advice!**

Miércoles 3/10 - Viva Cuba

Jueves 3/11 - Story
Bellwork: slide 24 here
Review: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday Independent Work
Story: Read this story here together as a class. While reading, in your notebook write down 4 words you recognize, 4 new words, and any summary details in Spanish. Then, 5 minute free write to finish the story on your own! Students asked any translation questions during ZOOM, then sent what they wrote via email before class ended.
Tarea: Continue working on your Viva Cuba Research Project, due tomorrow night (here). Including tonight, you will have had 1.5 hours to work on this -- keep your time management in mind!

Viernes 3/12 - Sports Vocab
Bellwork: GimKit Collaborate (unit 2 test topics)
Quiz (for some): Write a 100 word summary of "Viva Cuba" in Spanish
Sports Vocab: here (bolded/underlined are required, then students added some more from the rest of the list that applied to sports they play/like)
¿Qué te gusta? Practice new sports vocab on page 5 here by saying which sports you like and don't like, and answering questions about which sports you practice, which sports benefit your health, and which sports you like to watch on TV
