Bellwork: Listen to "Un Pez, Dos Peces, Pez Rojo, Pez Azul" en español (Dr Seuss). Write down 7 words you recognize, and 5 words you don't recognize.
Review: Go over in-depth the sentence translations from yesterday's Monday work

Tarea: On garbanzo.io, read the story "Carlos y Maria" and answer the questions as you go. Some useful vocab is below.

Practice -- I ask where something is in relation to the bank in Spanish. Examples: ¿Qué está a la derecha del banco? ¿Qué está cera de el parque?
Tarea: Draw 16 boxes AT LEAST (a 4x4, like the vocab from earlier today) and include at least 15 different places (drawn and labeled). Here are a few more places around town vocab as well, if you want to use them. THEN, once your town is drawn, write 10 sentences telling me where places are in relation to other places.

Mi ciudad (city) está en fuego (fire)! En el centro de mi ciudad, hay una tienda de zapatos. Al lado de la tienda de zapatos, hay una tienda de perros rojos. Al lado de la tienda de perros, hay un parque muy grande con una piscina y muchos gatos. Recuerdas (remember), mi ciudad está en fuego... Lejos de el parque, hay una escuela interesante. A la derecha de la escuela, hay un cemeterio para animales. A la izquierda de la escuela, hay un cine con "Shrek" y "Iron Man 2". El cine está en fuego azul. No hay personas en mi ciudad; solamente hay perros y gatos. Los perros y gatos no están en fuego -- son supernaturales.
