Notebook Check: Block 2 and Block 3

Monday Work:

1. Finish highlighting/writing down all verbs from "Los Novios" chapter 3 here. For reference, there are 31 verbs on Page 1, 36 on Page 2, 41 on Page 3, and 18 on Page 4.

2. From assignment number one, translate any 20 of the verbs you highlighted/wrote down. For example, Puedes = You can.

3. Take notes on Chores Vocab by writing each word in English and Spanish, then drawing it: here

**EMAIL ME A PICTURE OF WHAT YOU HIGHLIGHTED/WROTE FOR LOS NOVIOS CH 3 BEFORE MIDNIGHT TO BE COUNTED AS PRESENT FOR TODAY**

Los Novios: Read chapter 4 here (we read page one together as a class)

Tarea: Complete this worksheet on chores vocab here

Los Novios: Finished chapter 4 as a class here, jigsaw style (students assigned a page to roughly translate independently, then put into groups/breakout rooms to compare translations, then came together as a class to share English summaries)

Tarea: Complete this here. Take pictures of yourself doing as many of these as you can!! (I would say do them all, but I know you might not have an iron, or microwave, etc, so do as many as you are able to!). Email the pictures you take.

Novios: Read chapter 5 together as a class here

Tarea: Finish reading chapter 5.

1. 2nd block -- answer the questions at the end of the chapter

2. 3rd block - write a detailed summary (lots of sentences in English!) about what happened in the rest of the chapter

Los Novios: Since it is short, students read chapter 6 here on their own and chose any two of these activities here to complete about the chapter.
