Monday Work:

  1. Survey: Take this REQUIRED survey about whether or not you're moving onto the next level of Spanish. In the comments section, include any topics you would like reviewed at the beginning of the next level, if applicable. (survey here)

  2. Vocab: Copy down this clothing vocab here into your notebook

  3. Clothing Practice: Complete this drawing activity here and this clothing/gender agreement practice here . Make a copy of the gender agreement worksheet and share it we me so you can be marked as present for today.

Martes 4/20

Bellwork: slide 33 here

Small Groups:

  1. Independent Work -- some students were given work to do independently for 25 minutes. Using the clothing vocab from yesterday, describe what these people are wearing here and draw a family of 4 following this model here.

  2. Individual Meetings -- some students were told to find 4 assignments on Google Classroom that they are going to finish by the end of this week, and they told me what they were in the chat. Then they copied down their clothing vocab into their notebook from yesterday, worked on missing work for 25 minutes, and emailed me what they did by the end of class.

Tarea: Complete this online shopping activity in Spanish here -- "cuesta" means "costs"

Miércoles 4/21

Bellwork: GimKit collab to practice clothing vocab (students needed to submit 6 questions minimum)

Notes: -ar verbs (pictures below). If you missed these notes, schedule a time with me to make them up since they're a little complex!

Practice: Worked on a few of these practice conjugations here, based on the notes we took in class

Conjugating Practice: Do this powerpoint here as a class

Clothing and Conjugating Practice: Translate 3 of these sentences here as a class, then finish conjugating the rest on your own in class. Students emailed me a photo of their work when they finished.

GimKit: Did Trust No One to practice -ar endings

Tarea: Translate as much of this short story as possible here. Make a copy of the document, change the words/sentences/phrases that you can, and whatever you cannot figure out leave in Spanish. Share the document with me before class tomorrow!
