Martes 1/5 - Interrogation
Winter Vacation Bingo: Try to make bingo out of what you did over winter break! (here)
Interrogation: To review question words, we established someone we were interrogating, brainstormed questions to ask them in English, then translated those questions to Spanish.
Homework: Using the questions that we created in YOUR class, answer them as if you were the one being interrogated! Due tomorrow at the beginning of class.

**When answering questions, re-use most of the words from the question in your answer.
¿Miras la televisión mucho? -- Si, miro la televisión mucho. (re-use 'mirar', 'la televisión', and 'mucho'. Change 'miras' to the yo form)
Homework: Answer the following questions IN SPANISH IN COMPLETE SENTENCES. Due at the beginning of class tomorrow.

Jueves 1/7 - "El Regalo"
Homework Review: 5 questions from yesterday
"El Regalo" Movie Talk: Using this powerpoint here , we went slide by slide as a class and answered the questions/filled in the blanks as a class. Second block got half way through, and third block completely finished. New vocab we learned is below.
*Muchacho = Boy * Mismo = Same * Videojuegos = Videogames * Pata = Paw
*Atacar = To attack * Cachorro = Puppy * Regalo = Gift/Present * Caja = Box
Homework: Choose 3 of the Vocab Activity options from below to complete about each of the 8 vocab words from above. Preferably to complete in your notebook, but Google Docs is ok for the collage and the crossword puzzle. Will be checked tomorrow at the beginning of class.

Summary: As a class, start to write a detailed summary of the short film "El Regalo" that we watched/discussed in class the past two days. We focused on writing directly in Spanish -- not writing in English first then translating! Photos included below of the sentences we came in with in each class for how to start your summaries.
Homework: Finish the summary from class today, including all major details and not using a translator. Due with your Notebook Check on Monday.
