Human Cloning

Imagine, one hundred years from now, an infertile couple can have a child by making a clone of themselves at a younger age. There are many questions and opinions about human cloning. Some people argue that human cloning is beneficial to society. With human cloning comes the possibility of eliminating genetic disorders. People also argue that cloning provides an ability to recover faster from traumatic injuries.

Human cloning, however, is not supported by many people for many reasons. If we clone humans, they won’t live as long because the original copy is older. Also, the issue raises many ethical concerns. Those not in favor of cloning argue that the value of human life with be lower because of cloning. Also, there would be less individuality in the world. There are reasons for both sides of the argument, but it is hard to form an opinion this early on.
