Military recruitment is one of the direct reasons for the size and magnitude of our military itself. Recruiters work in various platforms across country to access our youth, and inform them about potentially joining the military. Although, these high schools allow the recruiters to visit and talk with all of their students, they usually target the students with low-income backgrounds. Different advertisements are proposed by recruiters for different demographics as a tactic to connect with the people they are recruiting. Recruiters are also usually found on college and university campuses because of the large student bodies.
Recruitment centers across the United States invite students to take part in their programs on campus or at these centers. ROTC programs are held at colleges and offer training for students to become military officers. In return, parts of the actual tuition is covered while enlisted within this program. The main goal is to build leadership skills needed to excel within the military. Protesters have come out against these recruiters on campus, and ROTC programs in recent years, although these recruitment centers still remain on campuses. The military recruitment programs have also started to spread their recruiting towards foreigners who reside in the United States. Overall military recruitment is responsible for the success of our military, and they will continue to inspire the youth to join.
