In My podcast, I will inform my audience on why we must legalize medical marijuana in the United States of America. In our country there is more support than we have ever seen in favor of legalizing marijuana. Drug industries The Drug Policy Alliance (DPA) believes marijuana should be removed from the criminal justice system and regulated like alcohol and tobacco. By legalizing marijuana we would be saving patients who need medical marijuana for certain conditions they have. Over the years our country has discovered that many threatening diseases like, Alzheimer's disease and Lou Gehrig's disease, can easily be treated with medical forms of marijuana. We can save lives by legalizing marijuana because we will be giving people easier and cheaper ways of obtaining the medication they need.
In the podcast we will discuss several things that relate directly to marijuana and its place in the US. As it stands, many states, cities, and counties have decriminalized marijuana usage. We will be examining the effects and possible repercussions this could have on the public. We will also be discussing the status quo of marijuana arrests and how it unevenly affects minority and youth populations. We will also be discussing the negative effects of a prohibition on marijuana.
Once we have covered all the negative aspects of the podcast as stated above we will then move on to a more positive note. We will discuss the positive health benefits marijuana ca have on the human mind and body. We will also examine the usage of medical marijuana in the United States and how helpful it is to multiple patients. Finally we will end on all the pros of fully legalizing marijuana in all 50 states and all US territories
