Online Shopping

Online shopping is a way of buying items that you are interested in without actually having to go pick it up or go to a store to get it. But, online shopping isn't the best choice. Some reasons for that are because you can’t try on what you are buying. You don't know if what you are buying is real, and you could be getting your information stolen, such as your email and password.

Suzanne McElwee needed a new prescription because her other pills ran out, so her doctor told her to order them online so she did. If she went to her doctor and got them, she would have had them that day. But, she ordered them online and it took three weeks for the medicine to come, she said another week and she might have had to go the hospital.

Larina Helsom began having unbearable pain. She had been taking pills for something else, but the pain seemed to increase more and more over time. The pain became so unbearable that she had to have surgery. After a week in the emergency room, she finally figured out what was the problem; the pharmacy had been giving her 50 mcg instead of 5 mcg pills. This could have been a tragic story thanks to the employee. With real people, there will always be a form of error. But with online shopping, this error decreases every day. Online shopping is incredibly important and great today.

Online shopping brings in a more diverse market for specific needs and issues. What if someone needs a spoon that is made of a biodegradable material for their 15-year-olds birthday party ASAP? In a matter of minutes, you could have an error anywhere. This is where online shopping can differentiate. Some websites (depending on where you live) can provide 1-hour shipping or other services like these. Online shopping also comes with many benefits including a boost in the state economy, more jobs, and in some cases a happier life. Not only this but in many cases, shopping online can be less costly than buying in store. Overall online shopping is a step in the future that we all need to take.
