Blue Lives Matter

Blue Lives Matter is an activist movement for police officers. Donald Trump made comments getting support from both sides while trying to maintain order with police. Blue Lives Matter was started in response to Black Lives Matter and trust between communities and law enforcement has been deteriorating after years of controversial shootings of African-Americans and minorities. Since 2014, trust has lessened between police and communities. According to a report, support for police from African-Americans is at an estimated 35% and Latinos is 45%. Police perform their duties exceptionally and go through tons of training to wear that badge. None of their judgement are based on race.

Police haven't had the easiest jobs in the world as some people think. A group of officers in Atlanta, GA were investigating a report and busted into someone's house. A woman fired a revolver at them and they unleashed a hailstorm of bullets. It pierced her heart killing her instantly. None of the police were injured but the African-American woman was dead. It was a contreversial case but they defended themselves regardless of who it wouldv'e been and saved each others lives. The shootings of African-Americans are accidental or self defense. Police will protect themselves regardless of race.
