The transmission of digitally signed readings is a basic requirement that a charging station must support in order to meet the requirements of calibration law in Germany. If the charging device supports this functionality, the transactions at the station can be verified at any time using the process described below. The station can thus also be operated semi-publicly or publicly via eCarUp.
Log into the driver account at www.ecarup.com for which you want to check a loading process. In the navigation on the left, click on the menu item Driver and then History.
Click on the fingerprint symbol (signature) on the far right of the desired loading process.
A window opens with the signed readings and the public key of the charging station. Alternatively, you can find the public key on the charging station (usually on the front of the meter).
Download the transparency software of the charging station manufacturer (see below) and enter the signed readings and the public key.
The charging process is digitally validated.
You can take the signed measurement data of the pico charging station directly from the smart-me platform and verify it with the S.A.F.E transparency software.
