eCarUp stations can be labeled with a QR code. This code serves several purposes:
Users with the eCarUp app can scan the QR code using the app and will then be directed to the correct station.
Users without the eCarUp app can scan the QR code with their phone’s camera and then make a one-time payment via our web-based instant payment system.
You can create your own QR code.
To do so, first go to “Stations -> QR Codes” in the portal.
To create the QR code, select a station in your account and click “Generate.”
The newly created QR code should then appear.
Then click “Download” to download the QR code. It can then be used for the station’s address or label.
Note: If, for some unknown reason, a user cannot scan the QR code (e.g., the smartphone’s camera is broken), they can enter the code at the following link: www.ecarup.com/code to initiate a one-time payment.

Scan the QR code using an app or your phone's camera.
Copy the station code from the URL. Copy the code that follows “stations=” (highlighted in bold in the example below).
e.g. https://www.ecarup.com/InstantPay/InstantPayWithCreditCard.aspx?serial=I4zp6A12urpfdJK9dKRbFbMAhn
Under “Manual QR Code Creation,” select the station and paste the “user-defined station code” that you copied.
Select “Generate.”
Select “Cancel.”
Verify that the code is visible under “Current User-Defined Station Code.”
Note: Have you already used a custom code for the old station?
If so, the custom code must be deleted from our system; after that, it can be used again.
You can find the code under “Current Custom Station Code.” There, you can click the “Delete” icon to delete the old QR code and generate a new one.

As a station operator, you can create your own labels for your charging stations. There are three templates to choose from. An A4 PDF is generated for each template, which is then printed on labels. We recommend weather-resistant labels:
Small: 42.3 x 21.2 mm, Zweckform L7911-10
Medium: 99.1 x 42.3 mm, Zweckform J4776-10, Herma 9533
Large: 99.1 x 67.7 mm, Zweckform L4715-20

Use the link mentioned above.
Click “Login” in the top right corner and use your eCarUp login credentials.
Select “Station Labels” on the left-hand side.
Your charging points will be listed.
Select the desired charging point and click “Create.”
Select the appropriate template and then click “Select Template.”
Fill in the contact information accurately and click “Create.”
A PDF with your labels will be generated.
