May you live in peace, ease and grace.

1. Start with sending love and kindness toward yourself first.

2. Repeat the blessing with a beloved other in mind.

3. Next, move on to offering compassion toward a neutral person.

4. Direct your meditation toward someone with whom you have a challenging relationship. If you find yourself stuck here, just do your best . . .

5. Finally, try offering the blessing toward all beings everywhere.
