What Other People Say . . .

Here's a video my school district created on the silly hats I wear at school:

<5 Minutes of Fame

Thanks for always urging us toward our larger selves. I will always remember you as the little lady with the big ideas.

It is very hard to describe in words our Teacher of the Year. One must really experience her! D'Etta Broam is enthusiastic, excited and energetic! She does whatever it takes to connect students (and their families) with books. One might see D'Etta riding a bicycle through the halls of our school or jumping into a classroom dressed as a snowman to share a special winter poem. D'Etta is creative, innovative and full of ideas. The smile on her face and the love in heart radiates to all in the PHES Family every day.

You are a fantastic light for all of us, D'Etta! Thank you, thank you, thank you for the gift of your time! We loved starting our day with you and it was so great for me to see how you use the yoga poses and breathing in a creative way with children!

Thanks for getting our last week started in such a positive and upbeat way!

"Thank you for teaching the yoga class. I always seem to be more mentally clear and always less stressed after your class." Micah Helms, 1/2/14

2015 Parent Survey: In your opinion, what was the BEST part of Chill Skills Camp?

Positive energy and potential to learn calming skills.

The best part of yoga camp is how much my child enjoys it. The lessons are so valuable, and I like that she got to interact with different kids from her usual group. I like that it's a balance of physical activity and learning important lessons about respecting others and yourself. My daughter really enjoyed the visitors on the last day.
