Friday, June 16 Jan Simms and Roxiann Dwyer went nip and tuck against Marilyn Fabits and Jean Meadows at Highlands. Since they started on 18, that made the number one handicap hole (17) as the final hole. With the match all squared, Jean birdied the hole for Marilyn and Jean to take 5 holes to 4. That had to be a fun match to watch.
