Players who automatically advanced into the second round along with their second round competitor may play those matches whenever they wish before the end of the second round. The committee has had requests that players be allowed to play these matches before the official start of the second round. However, please do not expect those who had to play a first round match to play these second round matches before the official start of the second round!
Update: The committee is taking a vote on whether to extend the tournament by 1 or 2 weeks. A decision should be forthcoming soon!
