Alger Sneaks By Lamar

Friday, June 10th at Dogwood, Jessica Alger continued her good play and defeated Stevie Lamar 1 Up. The match was extremely well played with Jessica hitting the ball consistently straight and making crucial putt after crucial putt to win and halve holes. On 13, 14 and 17 when she was down in the match, Stevie hit 3 of the finest fairway wood shots this observer has ever seen! And she needed to hit those clutch shots to get back in her match. This exciting match then continued to the 18th with Jessica still 1 Up. Stevie's tee shot hit on the green extremely close to the pin but rolled by a good bit. Jessica had about a 4 foot putt to get her par and tie Stevie for the win. After she hit the putt, there was never a doubt that it was going in the center of the cup for her victory!

Let's just say that Jessica won't be sneaking up on any other unsuspecting golfers! The word is out ... this lady can play!!!
