This match at Kingswood started in the beginning of the heat of the day AND proceeded to heat up with quality of play. The scoring sounds like a basketball announcer... Linda won the first, Maggie 2 and 3, Linda 4,5,6,7 Maggie 9. You get the idea. Maggie saved par on #10 after a drive to the left of the green; a second shot over the green and a third that somehow found the center of the hole to tie Linda's par. That's scrambling! It continued back and forth. Linda won 16 taking her 2 up. On 17, Maggie came out of the sand and left her putt an inch short. Linda won a well contested match 2 and 1. Great play ladies!
