Laura Wiersema and I played Scotsdale July 3rd. We had an early morning tee time in order to beat the heat, but it stayed overcast and cooler throughout our match. Unfortunately it had rained the night before and it was cart path only. Laura is such a trooper and said we'll play on!!!! Laura has a great short game, so I had to concentrate and make some putts. Laura won hole #11, which Michael Dryer says is the hardest hole on Scotsdale. When I grow up I want to be like Laura, she's my idol!!! She is one awesome lady!!!!! The match went to me 6 and 5.
