Simms Wears Down Lamar

Jan Simms and Stevie Lamar went back and forth in their match which took place at the Country Club on July 17th. In the beginning, Stevie couldn't stay out of the rough ... which made it "rough" on her! The Country Club course is in great shape ... especially the rough!?! Once Stevie found the fairway, things just did not fall into place for her. Jan Simms applied the pressure at that point and wound up winning the match 3 and 2. Jan commented that she "couldn't believe how well you all (Stevie and Sue J) played." Stevie knew Jan would be a tough opponent and she was right!
