KJ wins a HOT one over Schneider

Wednesday the 16th I played against Karen Schneider at Berksdale.

We started at 7:50 AM and it was HOT HOT HOT. I quickly gained a 3 hole lead only to have Karen come steadily back and battle all the way. We both had problems with the long rough and newly mown grass which limited the roll of the ball. But I maintained a one hole lead throughout and managed to hang on, winning 2 up. It was a very friendly match and for me, a privilege to play golf with such a lady.
