Kidd captures win over Roberts

On a cooler than usual Tuesday, 7/16, Gail Kidd and Linda Roberts teed off at Dogwood hills. Gail had her "A" game, but Linda must have as well as the match stayed close. Once they reached the farm area they could see dark clouds and smell rain. That is not where you want to be caught in a rain storm. Fortunately, friends kept in touch with the club house as to storms/lightening moving their way. No weather problems arose, and on #14, Linda tied the match. They tied 15 and Gail won 16. Linda hit her ball OB on 17 and Gail parred it. Linda conceded the match at #17 2 and 1 and congratulated Gail on her excellent score of 73. Congratulations to both ladies! ... and their weather-wise friends.
