John Fogerty at Beau Rivage 2004

John Fogerty started his Deja Vu All Over Again Tour by playing a whopping 28-song concert at Beau Rivage Theatre in Biloxi, Mississippi, USA, on November 6, 2004.

The Deja Vu All Over Again album had been launched no less than one month ago. To promote the new long-player, Fogerty delivered to the Beau Rivage audience world premieres of live versions of such songs as "Sugar-Sugar (In My Life)," "She's Got Baggage," "I Will Walk With You," "Radar" and "Honey Do."

"Radar" featured Fogerty on keyboards. Bruce from Louisiana described the number on the fan site John Fogerty Swamp next day: "---he was kind a growling and snarling, in a fun way, when he was playing it. Then towards the end of the song, one of the roadies/stagehands came out to get the keyboard but started playing little background organ parts! Then the song ended and the roadie took it off stage. I've never seen that done before, but what the heck, it works!"

Eventually, "Radar" was only heard in 14 concerts in the USA in November 2004.

The old man also fulfilled many fans' requests by playing "Run Through the Jungle" for the first time during his solo years. What's best, he pulled a harmonica out of his top pocket and played appropriate solos. "Bootleg" was another surprise in the set list. "Fell off my seat when he went into this song," recalled Rick on the Mailing List. "It is way superior to the album version - it flat out rocks!"

Another significant change was heard right after Fogerty took the stage. For the first time since the beginning of regular touring in 1997, he kicked off with "Travelin' Band." The former opener "Born on the Bayou" was skipped completely and saved for the next leg of the tour at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. The show in Biloxi was also one of the few John Fogerty concerts, if not even the one and only, where both "Proud Mary" and "The Midnight Special" were erased from the set list.

Ten months after the concert, Beau Rivage was badly damaged by Hurricane Katrina. The waterfront casino resort was then re-built and re-opened in August 2006.
