John Fogerty held the first ever Cosmo's Factory and Green River album concerts at Beacon Theatre, New York. Cosmo's Factory was delivered on November 17th, 2011 and Green River followed next day on 18th.

The album tracks were performed in the beginning of both shows. Fogerty was true to the original running order of the songs on the albums.

In between the songs, several multimedia performances were seen on the background screen. Fogerty rapped about the background of songs and his family.

Reviews of the concerts were favourable. "It was like watching a living jukebox have the time of his life, wrote David Fricke in the Rolling Stone. "Fogerty sang and soloed through “Proud Mary,” “Born on the Bayou,” “Commotion,” “Hey Tonight” and “Green River” with an improbably strong voice (Fogerty is 66) and that singular slicing CCR treble."

"Fogerty has, in his back pocket, some of the most powerful, nearly perfectly crafted pop music and his band recreates the originals to perfection," praised Eric Alterman of The Nation.

Both concerts were broadcast live by Sirius XM satellite radio in the USA. A couple of days before, the broadcaster also aired rare shows about the origins and backstories of the songs on Green River and Cosmo's Factory. They were hosted by John Fogerty himself.
