Yugandhar- A Magnum Opus by Shivaji Govindrao Sawant.

There are many aspects to the word 'Shri. 'Shri' means beauty, 'Shri' means unconquerable  power, supernatural intelligence, Immense wealth, immense quality etc. One can find 'Krishna' in Puranas like ShriMadbhaGawat, MahaBhaRata, HariVansh Puran etc. Shivaji Sawant has brought ShriKrishna as “Yugandhar” in his Marathi Book (I read Hindi Version). I read Mrityunjaya  few years back, which provided Karns Perspective of his life in Mahabharata times. And now this magnum opus “Yugandhar” by the same author. It provides the perspective on Yugandhar by Shri Krishna, Rukmani, Darruk, Draupadi, Arjuna, Satyiki and Udhav.  Yugandhar is one of the best and most famous Novels of Marathi language and it is awarded with many of the prizes and awards given by the Sahitya Academy.
