Hepzibah

Hepzibah was born on the planet Tryl'sart, but her parents settled on Earth soon after. She speaks Terran with a distinct French accent. Hepzibah has served as Captain's Yeoman on the U.S.S. Bretagne since 2268. She is also cross-trained as a transporter technician.Pleasant and charismatic, Hepzibah is a popular crewmember of the Bretagne. Despite having her pheromone glands surgically removed, she still has a large assortment of male admirers aboard the ship. As of episode #6, she has had no serious long-term romantic involvement. While off-duty, Hepzibah can usually be found singing cabaret-style Karaoke in the Bretagne's recreation center.

Background:

Yeoman Hepzibah is an homage to the Marvel Comics character created by Chris Claremont and Dave Cockrum, which in-turn is an homage to a character that regularly appeared in the comic strip Pogo created by Walt Kelly. Her in-game appearance is a rendering of Gigi Edgley's character Chiana from the TV series Farscape.
