Personal History:

Deano Bianchi is the oldest of 8 children in what could only be called a 'ridiculously large' Italian family from New Jersey, Earth. Deano has a curious aversion to replicated food, as his family has been in the restaurant business for generations. His decision to join Starfleet, as opposed to the family business, caused some friction initially:

"No Deano! Not Starfleet! Your uncle Vito was in Starfleet, he wore the red shirt!!," his mother cried.

"No, mama. It's Deano, I'm not gonna be out there on landing parties with a phaser, I'm gonna go Navigation, or Helm! Ya know, the old gold shirt," the prospective Cadet Bianchi said comfortingly.

"Aww Deano," Mama Bianchi said between sniffles, "My Deano always looked good in gold..."

He's a skilled cook and equally skilled as a Starfleet Navigator.

Aboard the USS Bretagne:

Lieutenant Bianchi is a fairly popular member of the Bretagne's bridge crew, being very personable and friendly, as well as being proficient in his duties.
