Pawnee Amateur Radio Club - Columbus, Nebraska

The Pawnee Amateur Radio Club met in person on October 14th, in the Platte County EOC. Club president, Dave AC0TF, called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

Old Business
No Treasurer report.
NORHM reported that the replacement antenna for the 146.640 repeater damaged by lightening was expected to ship the second week of October and is currently scheduled to ship on November 11th. He will work on scheduling the tower crew once the antenna is delivered. That scheduling will be weather dependent.
New Business
WD0AAH, Mark reported that the new tower northeast of David City is up and he hopes to have the old Osceola 147.015 repeater installed and operational there by the end of October.

With no further business, the business portion was concluded and the club moved onto general discussion and the program for the evening.
General Discussion
WD0AAH, Mark gave an interesting presentation on the Nebraska Task Force 1 search and rescue group with a slide presentation on their response to hurricane Katrina.
