Pawnee Amateur Radio Club

       

 

February 9, 2016

The Pawnee Amateur Radio Club held a radio net meeting February 9th, 2016 on the 2m repeater 146.640 in Columbus Nebraska.  Club vice president, Chris AC0DN, called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.  Chris read the minutes of the January meeting.   Club Treasurer, Ted K7CLP, gave a treasury report as of 2/9/2016 with no outstanding bills for the month.  The treasurer report was approved as read.

Old Business

440 repeater - Ted K7CLP had no issues to report.  Confirmed by Larry WA0QCI.

Bill Kucera - Ted K7CLP is still working through some of his estate.

D-Star - Gene KD0OBA gave a quick run down of how the D-Star has been working well and some of the other nets he has linked to.

New Business

IRLP - Internet Radio Linking Project - Gene KD0OBA and Ted K7CLP gave a talk about how this is similar to D-Star only it is all analog.  You can link and unlink repeaters.  There is an IRLP net on Sunday evenings at 8:30pm.  There was talk about using our 440 repeater for linking. 

A couple of IRLP locations:  York - 444.725 PL - 123.0  West Point - 444.125 PL - 131.8

With no further business, a motion to adjourn was made by Adam KD0RIZ and seconded by Chris AC0DN .  Motion carried.
