I like this tie, and I think this fuzzy picture does not do it justice. And real men wear purple shirts with purple ties; I want that to be clear.
Tuesday, May 7
On my birthday I took the day off and played (bowling, darts, etc.) in DC with a friend.
Wednesday, May 8
Gas leak in the building next door and I never made it to my office; we all had to sit in the hallway until they sent us home at 10:30. But, during the excitement I was wearing this Oscar de la Renta tie that I got for my birthday:

I like the tie, I do. I plainly tied it so it hung too low. And that's a mistake I am prepared to live with.

I am a big fan of this tie. Outstanding neck tie, is what it is, and worthy of being daily tie number 150.
