Just got my annual cardiac risk profile for the 3rd time. 200 to 212 to 218 pounds. I am now a goddamn whale. Nurse Jane said to lose 8 pounds by Christmas. But she said nothing about my awesome tie.

I was told this outstanding tie evokes bamboo or asparagus.
Friday, August 2
No badge; I forgot my briefcase at the bar yesterday. Dammit. But my sadness is overcome with the playful beauty of my Friday tie.
