200

Well, I crossed the 200-tie threshold about two weeks ago (I write this on August 3, 2013). When I began this pointless endeavor, something I did not fully consider was how easy it is. So here I am, more than 10 months older, still going, with no end in sight (I've got more than 50 ties in my closet at home waiting for their day in the sun). As I've probably pointed out, the only actual effort is getting the ties. Last time I went to Salvation Army I bought 51 good ties for $20. So cost isn't an issue, and the farther into this I go, I think, the more likely I am to continue. Motivation to make the trip to Salvation Army, frankly, is easier the farther along I get. I'm not sure why that is, but it is.
