MBBB19 Gallery

The full gallery of photos and videos that Marc and Eugene took can be found here.

Brian was the first arrival for the 19th anniversary of MBBB. Span and Eugene arrived soon thereafter, while David had slept over at Marc's house the night before.

Diners are always a popular breakfast spot for MBBBs. This year, the Sunrise Diner sported a streamlined menu and $2.95(!) maple syrup as an add-on. Span declined to purchase it on principle alone.

Saturday afternoon: Check. 85 degrees and humid: Check. Sunny skies: Check. School's out: Check. Jones Beach parking lot: Empty. Huh?

Apparently, watching our shuffleboard games was the most exciting thing to do at the beach that day. No wonder the parking lot was empty! Here, David and Span battle it out on the back end of the court.

Eugene uses his tang to push his biscuit towards the triangular scoring zone at the far end of the court. Hmm, shuffleboard sure has some interesting terminology.

The Mini-Golf course was conveniently located directly next to the shuffleboard courts. On this hole, Brian had to attempt to guide his ball all the way around the carousel with one stroke.

Span holds his follow-through while watching his shot roll towards the hole. He was the eventual winner of the event, notching three hole-in-ones!

A quick lunch was in order prior to heading to the movie theater. Most of us got Five Guys burgers, but Eugene and David had the gall to bring in some rogue food items.

The approach to Farmingdale Multiplex Cinemas, where the MBBB Movie Curse was finally vanquished by "Mad Max: Fury Road".

Span was so good at serving the volleyball that his teammate, Eugene, didn't even feel the need to be on the court to play this point.

Marc tried his best to help lead his team to victory with bumps such as this one. Unfortunately, these bumps only led to bruises on his forearms instead.

The winning team poses. Eugene and Span were aided by Kim and Lucy, two college students that we met at the park.

Dinner was eaten at an authentic Indian restaurant around the corner from Marc's house. Some dishes were spicy, some dishes were mild. All dishes were eaten with some white rice and naan.

To finish off the day, everyone squeezed into Marc's living room for a game of Loaded Questions. The only drawback was how stuffy it was due to the summer weather and lack of air conditioning.

Matt was able to join the game from his home despite his illness thanks to the wonders of Skype and texting. And no, he's not super pale; it's just difficult to take a normal-looking picture of him off of the TV screen.
